 Please join us for a unique opportunity to discuss recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence and how it can impact and benefit your practice as an Industrial Hygienist.  AIHA-RMS has teamed with local section member Phil Clark to provide an interactive Professional Development Course covering ways you can ethically integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into your day-to-day operation. 

 
This course is a two-part interactive group discussion dedicated to 1) ESH Ethics (2 hrs - one before and one after the AI workshop, providing 2 hours of ABIH Ethics contact time) and 2) a hands-on AI Workshop (4 hrs) demonstrating a variety of ESH/AI use cases and tools ESH professionals can use to enhance their workflow.

  • Ethics (Hour 1) for EHS Professionals (ABIH/BGC Aligned)
  • AI Workshop: Introduction and Overview

 Instructor Bio: Phil Clark, MS, CIH, CSP

 

Founder & CEO, Omitz LLC

Phil Clark is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with over 15 years of experience in environmental, safety, and health (ESH), including a decade specializing in hydrogen safety at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

 

As the founder of Omitz LLC, Phil is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify regulatory compliance and enhance workplace safety. His work focuses on leveraging AI-driven tools, such as knowledge graphs and large language models, to make complex regulations more accessible to safety professionals.

 

Phil is passionate about ensuring AI is applied ethically and responsibly within the ESH field. This course will explore AI’s capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations, equipping professionals with the knowledge to integrate AI into their work while upholding safety and compliance standards.
