Do you need to complete an Ethics training before your CIH or CSP certification period ends? Here is your chance. AIHA-RMS will be viewing the AIHA webinar, An Ethical Conduct Checklist for Real-Time Technology Deployment followed by an hour AIHA-RMS members sharing examples of ethical dilemmas from the occupational health and safety and OSHA regulatory perspective.

A core value for OHS professionals is ethical behavior. Ethical anchors are at the heart of any consideration of the tasks that we take on as EHS professionals. Decision-making and ethics are rife with complexity, tension, and paradox which arise from this arena's values-dependent, and subjective nature. Ethical and moral considerations are real and ever present in today’s workplace.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to:

  1. Leverage ethical perspectives.
  2. Outline the intersections between organization, community, workplace, person, and environmental health.
  3. Manage decision-making with ethical and moral imperatives.

NOTE: The AIHA National webinar is also available as part of the AIHA-RMS eLearning LITE subscription throughout 2024. You do not have to register for this event to listen but it is only a 1-hour ethics webinar.
